Today is a day for the record books! Today, myself and six other friends (one being my brother), buried a Time Capsule. It was filled with things that were important to us at this time. We were each given 5 items each! We all made a pact to come back in 20 years, with all our families, and open the time capsule on July 4th, 2027! 20 years is a long time! I will be 42 then.. wierd! Charlee was saying that 20 was too long, but I think it will be the perfect time, because right now all of us are so young, and to come back when we are "established" in our life.
It makes me wonder where I will be in 20 years. My prayer is that I will always be sensitive to God's calling and guidance in my life. I know I tend to try and take things and make something out of it, but I cannot do it! It is a lesson in trust and patience. and I know that right now, I would not be where I am if it weren't for trusting in God!
Hopefully, one day when I open this Time Capsule, it will find me and my friends successful in following God's calling on our lives!
